A moment of stillness to overview the circularity of our life.

By overpainting older canvases,  traces of past layers remain visible, the psychologist & painter adds depth, memory  and recycling to her work.   Every painting is both personal and universal, exploring the many layers of human being.

Deze werkjes zijn gebaseerd op oude Super 8 filmpjes van mijn vader, vakantiebeelden van 1973.  Ik trok foto's terwijl het filmpje draaide en de onscherpe beelden schilderde ik na.
